Frequently Asked Questions
Just mix with water? How does that work?

It works! Our baking mix contains everything you need for perfect pancakes. If you wish to prepare them with milk or plant-based milk of your choice, it works too, but be aware the calorie count and nutritional values will change when prepared with a liquid other than water.

How many pancakes can I make with one package?

Our pancakes are very different from crepes. They taste best when thick and golden. This gives you something to really sink your teeth into first thing in the morning. You'll get 16 thick Protein Pancakes from one package. If you like your pancakes thinner, you'll obviously get more.

Does the sunflower lecithin come from biological or conventional agriculture? Were pesticides used?

The sunflower lecithin comes from conventional agriculture. It is possible that pesticides were used but not all of them are dangerous! Furthermore the sunflower lecithin is extracted from the sunflower seeds and purified.

Why are your Protein Pancakes so much better than regular baking mixes?

It’s simple: Other baking mixes have a ton of added sugar. We turned this formula on its head: 0% added sugar* and 41% protein. Just as delicious, and just as simple and quick to prepare.

My pancakes are too runny, what should I do?

If your pancakes are not puffing up when cooking, it is likely because too much water has been added to your batter. If this happens you can add a little more mix and whisk again until well-aerated. Be sure to cook on medium heat and avoid pressing them to ensure they don’t deflate!
